Interestingly, this deal is specifically for a physical box with the activation code inside. That means you’ll have to wait for it to arrive, but with free next-day delivery on Prime that shouldn’t be an issue. Once you have the code, just open any Office app, sign in to your Microsoft account and enter it. It works on all recent versions of Windows or macOS, but is only valid on one device, so choose carefully.
You’ll then be able to access everything an Office Home & Student bundle provides. That includes a full version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote, alongside Outlook, Skype and 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage. You can even check everything you write with the Microsoft Editor tool.
Office Home & Student was released late last year, but Microsoft doesn’t tend to update these standalone versions for at least two years. Even when it does, the features on offer here are more than enough for most people.
If you’re based in the US, a more modest deal is available on the digital download version. It’s down to $124.99 with a $25 discount, but offers all the same features.
